K-tip vs nano ring: which is right for you?

K-tip extensions use a bonded keratin attachment that is softened with a heat tool during fitting. Nano rings hold each strand with a tiny bead, so no glue or heat is used for attachment.

We do not offer K-tip bonds. Nano rings are our individual strand method because each bead can be opened, moved up and reused, and removal needs no bond remover. They are not right for every head of hair, so Devan checks yours first.

Are nano rings the same as micro beads?

They use a similar bead-based principle, but nano attachments are smaller. The right bead and placement depend on your natural hair and the extension strand.

Do nano rings damage hair?

Any extension can place stress on natural hair if it is unsuitable, poorly fitted or not maintained. A consultation and timely move-ups help reduce avoidable tension.
